Sorry to put bad news on this site which should be about all things joyous and wonderful, but sometimes we have to look out and see that not everything is as good as it could be.
Probably you came here full of excitement about the wonderful changes that are coming in your life - and this is going to be a sort of bummer. Think of your blessings and consider what Katrina’s victims must be feeling.
This isn’t about guilt or about how lucky you are and how unlucky others might be - whatever we can do to help - anything, no matter how small, shows that we are not alone, that we care for one another. It matters. All of us are linked together, to reduce the suffering of one is to be blessed.
